To increase interactions between industry and academia and confront each other’s visions on major health issues, ARIIS organizes workshops under the lead of its members.

In the form of informal exchanges and by invitation only, these workshops focus on issues and challenges identified by industry, on large therapeutic areas (oncology, rare diseases, neurology, etc.) that may correspond to structured academic initiatives.

Behind the workshops that formalize a first step in a dialogue, the idea is to create a long-term dynamic of interaction and to obtain a “position paper” of a few pages summarizing the key messages of these discussions or highlighting actionable targets.
